Bake for Homeless Shelter

As I entered my teenage years, I became aware of a number of issues facing our society, but homelessness was the one that most struck me. I discovered that many people were homeless due to socioeconomic circumstances rather than personal faults.

Around the same time, my love for baking began to blossom. So I started baking for the shelters with my team. After assisting others for the first few times, I experienced an unexplainably warm feeling, which inspired me to quickly enlist the support of my friends and peers in a cause that is still going strong today. The smiles and gratitude from the homeless people we had the good fortune to assist were the greatest rewards of all.
