Yedam Nursing Home

Volunteering at Yedam Nursing Home was a meaningful experience that went far beyond simply helping with chores. I assisted in the kitchen by washing dishes and organizing used utensils so that meal service could run smoothly. Working alongside the staff gave me a glimpse into the care and attention required to support the residents’ daily routines, and I deeply appreciated the warmth and teamwork shown by everyone there.

I also helped clean the hallways and common areas, and assisted with preparing meals for the residents. Through these tasks, I realized that even small responsibilities play an important role in ensuring the residents’ comfort and safety. The experience taught me the value of consistency, responsibility, and genuine care, and it inspired me to continue participating in volunteer work that supports older adults and their daily lives.
