Medical Help Project

We are a student-run foundation that collaborates with corporations, governments, and other organizations to improve healthcare access in Cambodia by bolstering local infrastructure in remote areas and facilitating the transportation of medical supplies. So that everyone may get the care they need, the organization strives to increase the availability of medial supplies and medicines and strengthen the skills of health workers to provide that care. Smart decisions contribute to better health, therefore the program also aims to integrate data-driven decision-making at all levels of the health system.

While the healthcare system in Cambodia has made significant strides since the Khmer Rouge-- corruption, and bureaucratic complications lining the system leave many unable to receive basic care.

Project Metta aims to provide a direct funding route to families in need, and to equip families with basic caregiving education and training in order to develop preventative care.

Choose Family

When we are informed the families that are in need of  regular meals, potable water, secure housing and medical services & medicine, our parner personally visits them to hear their stories. You will read the true stories of their life and decide to support them.

Receives Receipt

After the fund reaches its goal, our partner in Cambodia will transfer funds. Funds go directly to families, without the risk of corruption or bureaucratic holdup.

Eight families (about 40 people including kids) are living in one flat when we visited to meet the family in Prek Luong Commune, Srok Khsack Kandal, Kandal Province, Cambodia.  Samon's daughters' are Tha, Kunthea, Rod and Khouch. Tha has four sons, Kunthea has three daughters, Rod has two daughters and Khouch has 5 daughters.  Srey has four kids- Vichoy, Sokleang, Sokheng, and Dara. Vichoy has no child, Sokleang has a son and a daughter, Sokeng has 2 kids, and Dara has 4 kids.  At the age of 19, most of these kids had a 5th baby and has delivered all her children at home through caesarean section without proper medical treatment.  A lot of young mothers have lost their children, and a lot of the babies lost their mothers.  ( All Pictures and videos are taken directly by us and uploaded with consent ).
