Guam Fire Department (Nov 18, 2023)

We visited Fire Department and the chief of Emergency Department has kindly educated us to have the ability to spontaneously assemble and activate ourselves in the case of a catastrophic disaster. After Typhoon Mawar of May 2023 hit Guam, we wanted to learn the consequences and train ourselves the evacuation drill.

We were trained :

-Learning to suppress small fires

-Basic first aid, including ABC treatment, treatment for shock, and related techniques

-Evacuation tactics and how to collaborate with city agencies to support neighborhood exits

search tactics

-Communications, including the use of radios

Our volunteer organization will spread this training as an awareness through SNS campaigns.
